The film "Ball Pen" is a film about little children who are inmates of Mother Teresa orphanage. The story revolves around a letter that Keshva; one of the boys, reads while he is delivering newspapers at the government offices. It's the first Kannada film to be fully shot on Canon EOS 5D MK II camera and transferred to 35 MM Fuji FDI negative. This film is a visual treat for the Kannada audience. The film is directed by Shashikanth who had earlier directed IPC Section 300, Music is by Manikanth Kadri of Savaari fame, Cinematography by C.J.Rajkumar and Produced by Bhavana Belagere and Srinagara Kitty under the banner of Mahaanadi Creations. The film is also subtitled in English.
