DR.VISHNUVARDHAN is often called as "Sahasa Simha" of Kannada Film industry.  He is also popularly called as "Abhinaya Bhargava".  He is also having a great fan following like Dr.Rajkumar.  After the sudden demise of Dr.Rajkumar , Vishnu is adhored as Thespian in Kannada film industry.  His latest film directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar "Mathad Mathad Mallige" is receiving rare reviews from film fraternity and farmers accross Karnataka and also widely discussed in India.  The film deals with the Farmers problems which is caused due to Globalization.  In this film Dr.Vishnu has potrayed the character of "Hoovaiah" with great ease and to perfection which is lauded by one and all.  The film also deals with the effects or rise of Naxalism and the character of the Naxalist is portrayed by Kiccha "Sudeep" who is also the angry young man of Kannada film industry.  After a gap of about 15 years the female lead Suhasini Maniratnam has acted with Dr.Vishnu, which is a great pair in Kannada films who has acted together in films like "Bandhana"," Suprabhata" and "Himapatha".  All the films are very popular especially Bandhana & Suprabhata, Muthinahara to name a few.  The film MMM(Mathad mathad mallige) music is scored by Melody King Manomurthy, who is current sensational music director in Kannada film industry who has scored music for Mungaru male, Milana, Amruthadaare, America America to name a few.
