ROCKY is the latest movie of Yash. Yash, in his earlier venture
"Moggina Manasu" had impressed Kannada audience, is now a full-
fledged hero of Kannada movie 'Rocky'.

Yash is a very good Dancer cum Actor, which was a necessity for
younger Kannada generation. He is also called as HRITHIK ROSHAN
OF KANNADA. He is handsome too. Yash has really impressed with
his dancing skills in this movie. Even his acting talents are
impressive. Though the film story is weak, which is a mixture of
Telugu Movie "Arya" and a Tamil Movie "Kandukondein Kandukondein".
The Director Nagendra Urs, who is also a Actor, Editor and son
of Great Character Actor 'Sunderkrishna Urs' really fails.
Nagendra has even acted in 'Navagraha' movie with Darshan.
Nagendra Aras should concentrate on story and improve his narration
style. Biyanka desai is the promising Heroein, who has good dancing
skill too.

I will not reveal the story, better you watch it on Big screen
and give support to this New Hero and new team. The music is
scored by Venkat-Narayan, the duo music composers. Some good
songs with racy numbers are the highlight of this movie.

HAAGE SUMMANE is the first directorial attempt by Preetham
Gubbi. Who is Preetham Gubbi ? This may be the question arised
in your mind! Preetham is the main brain behind the Mega Block-
buster MUNGARU MALE. He wrote the Screenplay for MM & Geleya.

Preetham is once more attempting a love subject. According to
Gandhadagudi Wiki the Plot of this movie is:

"Preetam Mallya (Kiran) is the son of a business tycoon. He does
not believe in love until one day, he falls in love with a girl
(Suhaasi) who he gets a glance of. She has incidentally left
behind her dairy in the auto rickshaw she was travelling, but
the diary isn't too forthcoming on the details of the girl.

Preetam finally finds the girl, who turns out to be a rock star.
But, she isn't the one he fell in love with. The rock star lets
him off the hook by telling him they're just friends and leaves
him with a wedding invitation. But, the rock star is not the girl
getting married. And Preetam needs to find the girl (the one that
lost the diary) in just three days"

The Songs are already a hit among Kannada fans. The music scored
by Melody King is already the talk-of-the-town especially the
Sonu Nigam songs "Hodi Bandhenu" & "Maayavaagidhe Manasu"
is already in the top of music charts. Plenty of expectations
are around this movie. The Hero Kiran, who earlier had a cameo
in SMS 6260 with Diganth, which was a KANglish Movie. But the
Director is introducing him as a New Comer! Suhasi, the heroein
has acted in many TV Serials like Ek Chavi hai Pados Mein' (Urmi
in this television serial)is also a Model(SLICE & Bubble gum Ads
in TV). Pooja Gandhi has also done a Guest Appearance.

The picturization of the songs are especially eye-catching due
to the Cinemotoographer Krishna(Remember Mungaru Male Jogfalls
Scenes)and the Arts Director. Jayanth Kaikini, the famous
lyricist of Mungaru Male has penned all songs for the first time!
Most of the Mungaru Male team has grouped together in this Movie.

SANGAMA is the latest movie of 'Golden Star' Ganesh.
This was the much awaited movie of Ganesh, as his earlier
movie Bombat was crashed in the Box-office.

But even Sangama also fails to attract viewers because
of loose Screen play and predictable story. Only Ganesh's
performance is the screen saver! Vedika, the heroein is
promising, but the dialogues of her are repeatative!
Still a long way to go. The saving grace of the movie
is Comedy. Saadhu Kokila, Komal somehow entertains the
Audience of the movie.

South Indian famous Music Deviprasad is the Music Director
of this Movie. For the first time he has scored music
in Kannada. Though he shines in his category, but due
to lack of story and good screenplay, it is not reaching
the audience. The Director 'Gubbi' Ravi verma still
need to go a long way. He really has not given prominence
to the Story and thus fails to reach the audience. For
the first time SONU NIGAM, the famous Bollywood Singer
has not sung any song for Ganesh!


It is an unknown fact that why Ganesh is signing these
type of sterio-typed movies which not bring any name or
fame to him. At the same time he losing the love and
affection of Movie goers. Still all is not end, CIRCUS
and following movies must make Ganesh to win the confidence
of Kannada film fans.

VAMSHI is the latest movie of Power Star "Puneeth Rajkumar",
which was the most hyped and expected movie of 2008 in Kannada
Film Industry. Puneeth's earlier release 'Bindass' was a
average hit, hence Puneeth's fans were awating for a Big hit
in the form of Vamshi! and their hope is now reality.

Prakash of 'Milana' fame has directed Vamshi very well with a neat
mixture of sentiment and action, which is the talk-of-the-town
matter in Karnataka. Puneeth is improving and experimenting in
new dimensions of performing, and has managed to win his fans
heart. I don't like to reveal the story-line but would like to
inform you that the story is really very attractive and sentimental
too!

Yesteryear Super-star Actress Laxmi, has potrayed the role of
Puneeth's Mother and with her sterling performance will remain
always in Kannadigas heart. Nikitha, the first-time heroein
in Kannada, has also acted well! Ravi Kale, Rajendra Kamat has
also performed well. Komal is the laughing bomb in this movie.

R.P.Patnaik, the Music Director has given good songs which includes
a Remix by Annavaru! but not upto the extent of his earlier superhit
Movie Akash. Puneeth has tried to sing a Duet song first time with
Shreya Goshal and also suceeded. Cinemotography by Krishnakumar is
worth to watch. Other technical aspects are also very good.

SUDEEP. His earlier movie 'Gooli' was an
Average hit, but this time Sudeep really strikes

The songs of this movie are talk-of-the-town
subject. Melodious and rocking music is scored
by V.Sridhar, who is also the lyricist of all songs.
All the songs are very good, especially "Ninna
Nodalentho", "Bayasidella sigadu balalli" and
"Kadhallu Manasanna". The intial response for
this movie is really marvelous. The movie is
blended with right mixture of emotions, comedy
and music. Sudheep's Acting is the highlight
of this movie. He has reduced his weight
(about 5-8 kgs)for his role of Radio Jockey(RJ)
and also changed his look completely. Ramya
is also very charming, But Anu Prabhakar really
steals the show.

First time director Mahesh is the man to watch!
He has blended all elements in right combination
and thus suceeded in his first venture.
